Dr. Kathleen Parewick

Dr. Kathleen Parewick is a community development worker with over twenty-five years of work experience in various local and regional governance roles. She has supported a wide array of professional, civic, environmental, arts and cultural organizations, including as a founding member of the Friends of Victoria Park and lead organizer of their much-loved annual Lantern Festival. By day, she is MNL’s Community Collaboration Officer. Her municipal policy and research duties include supporting the activities of each of the Municipal Governance and Environment & Sustainability Committees of the Board. She served as the St. John’s Urban Region Convenor for the national Cities for People project throughout 2015 and will be coordinating MNL’s regional government pilot initiatives in 2016.
